In the first quarter of 2025, the top communication apps on a unified platform in the United Kingdom showcased diverse performance trends. Based on data from Sensor Tower, here's a look at how these apps fared.

Snapchat from Snap Inc. exhibited a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $1.1M in late February. Weekly downloads showed a gradual decline from 92.2K at the start of the quarter to around 71.9K by the end. The app maintained a robust active user base, starting at 12.8M and rising to approximately 12.9M by the last week of March.

Discord - Talk, Play, Hang Out experienced a revenue surge, reaching $209K in late February. Weekly downloads decreased from 70.1K to 49.9K over the quarter. However, active users increased steadily, reaching 4.2M by the end of March.

Telegram saw revenue growth, peaking at $114K in late February. Downloads initially spiked to 138.9K in late January but tapered off to 86K by the end of March. Active users remained relatively stable, ending the quarter just above 7.6M.
